Enjoy Fireworks Across The Metroplex!

    If you will be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for the Fourth of July weekend, you won’t have any problem finding a dazzling fireworks show to enjoy. We have compiled a list of the best fireworks shows that will be displayed the nights leading up to, and the night of, the Fourth of July.


    The Colony – Liberty by the Lake

    LBTL_001This free Independence Day event is packed with fun activities for the whole family. Features include live music, a parade, children’s activities, a fun run/walk, and salsa shootout. Additionally, there will be a magic show performance, Dallas Cirque performance, BMX stunt show, and a watermelon eating contest. And, of course, the day will end with an impressive fireworks finale.     Sherman – Sherman Lights on the Lake

    Attracting over 5,000 attendees, Pecan Grove Park West is home to Sherman’s free Independence Day celebration. Lights on the Lake features live music, food vendors, bounce houses and activities for kids, and a huge fireworks show.     Addison – Addison Kaboom Town

    PrintEnjoy one of the top firework shows in the country starting at 4:00 p.m. in Addison, which boasts a half-million guest attendance and city-wide celebration. The main celebration occurs at the 12-acre Addison Circle Park, where you can enjoy food, live music, historic warbird flyovers, and a dazzling 30 minute fireworks display choreographed to music. Addison Circle Park also offers a live concert after the fireworks show if you’re wanting to wait out the traffic. Alternatively, watch parties occur at many of Addison’s restaurants and hotels, and the event is simulcast on 100.3 JACK FM. This is a free event.     Coppell – Spirit of Coppell Celebration & Fireworks

    Celebrate Independence Day with us! Experience the sounds of one of DFW’s most popular party bands, the Emerald City Band. Emerald City brings a high energy, visually exciting shows that get every crowd motivated and on their feet. Additional entertainment includes bounce houses, face painting, and photo booths. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic or purchase food at the event. A variety of food will be available for purchase, including BBQ, pizza, funnel cakes, and turkey legs.     Roanoke – Roanoke’s 3rd Rocks

    Bring the whole family out for a night of fun at Roanoke’s annual Independence Day celebration!  Complete with bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, train rides, spectacular fireworks, food and much more, the event starts at 7:30 concluding with a great fireworks display!  For complete information, click HERE.

    Southlake – Southlake Stars & Stripes

    The City of Southlake and Southlake Town Square host their free annual Independence Day celebration. The celebration includes live music, children’s activities, festival style food, and a spectacular fireworks show.     Dallas – Fair Park Fourth

    fair-park-fourthCelebrate America’s independence with a day of fun in Fair Park at Dallas’ official Independence Day celebration. The day begins with rides, games, concessions, and live entertainment, and ends with a stunning fireworks show when it gets dark. It usually costs $5 to enter Fair Park Fourth; more information will be posted at Fair Park Fourth as it becomes available.

    Denton – Kiwanis Fireworks Show

    It’s Denton County’s most spectacular night, and has been for over forty years! Come inside for live music by Raised Right Men, followed by an awesome array of fireworks that light up the sky. The event is FREE (parking in all lots $10), but donations are gladly accepted by our energetic “Bucket Brigade” before, during, and after the show.  Gates open at 6:00PM, for full details on the event, check out the Kiwanis Club website HERE.

    Flower Mound – Independence Fest 2016

    The Town of Flower Mound is celebrating America’s freedom with Independence Fest 2016, presented by Market Street. Admission & parking to the event are FREE & will be headlined by the classic rock group Loverboy!  Activities run all day beginning with the annual Children’s Parade at the LISD School Administrative Building, & concluding with a fantastic fireworks finale around 9:50 p.m. following the FREE concert at Bakersfield Park.  Other great activities throughout the day include a vintage car show, local business showcase, food & drinks for the family, & completely FREE Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses, face painting & more!

    Frisco – Freedom Fest

    The Frisco Freedom Fest is a great staple for it’s residents as well as visitors.  Many different attractions are made available to the public including; bounce houses, face painting, games, music & dancing, Dachshund races, an FC Dallas soccer game, vendor village, Taste of Frisco & of course, FIREWORKS!     Garland – Garland Star-Spangled Spectacular

    The Star-Spangled Spectacular at Firewheel Town Center is a free, family fun celebration that features live music, kid’s activities, and strolling entertainment from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The patriotic fireworks display will being at 9:15 p.m. Visit Star-Spangled Spectacular’s official website for details.

    Grapevine – Grapevine Lake July Fourth Fireworks Extravaganza

    Relax and enjoy this free Grapevine tradition at 9:30 p.m. at Grapevine Lake. Designated viewing areas include the rooftop of the Gaylord Texan parking garage and lakeside parks. The fireworks display will continue rain or shine; if extreme weather arrives, the show will start after the weather has passed.     Haltom City – Haltom City Family Fourth Firework Show

    Starting at 5:00 p.m., thousands of residents and visitors of Northeast Tarrant county will celebrate our country’s most patriotic holiday. This free event features plenty of food and drink, kid’s activities, and a salute to veterans stage performances. The dazzling fireworks show will begin at about 9:30 p.m. Visit Family Fourth Firework Show’s official website for additional information. The celebration will occur at The Hills Shopping Center, and fireworks can be viewed from the parking lots of the following locations:

    Irving – Irving Independence Day Festival and Fireworks

    The City of Irving will host its free, annual, two-part celebration of America’s independence. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Heritage Park, attendees can enjoy an Independence Day parade and reception. If you’re only interested in the pyrotechnics, the fireworks show is at Lake Carolyn from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more detailed information, go to Independence Day Celebration’s official website.

    Lewisville – Red, White & Lewisville

    The city’s annual fireworks show, Red White & Lewisville, will return Monday, July 4th.  The same launch site will be used as in the past several years, and the best viewing areas are between state highway 121 and the south side of Vista Ridge Mall.  The show is scheduled to start after sunset, about 9:30 p.m.  For more information, call 972-219-3401.

    The July 4th Celebration is Trophy Club’s largest event of the year and they love celebrating our red, white and blue roots! There is a full day of fun, Patriotic events planned on Monday, July 4, 2016 including a 5k & fun run (beginning at 7:15), parade of patriots (beginning at 9:30), plus a great celebration & fireworks display between 6:00-10:00PM!  For full details, check out the Trophy Club website!
