I have learned you never know where or how you can find the best information.
One day I had a hankering for a good ole Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. It proved to be an irresistible craving that just would not go away. I was determined to find the nearest restaurant who served them, & I had no idea that I would find it in my own backyard.
I tend to pride myself on being a resourceful person so I went to the old reliable Facebook and asked “the world” if someone knew where I could find my current obsession. It turned out that one of The Rhodes Team repeat clients quickly responded. He is a commercial pilot and eats at the best restaurants around the world, but he replied by saying if I wanted a great Philly Cheese Steak I should try one from Burgers & Brats located in Flower Mound at 6100 Long Prairie Road, #300. You cannot imagine how excited I was & I went there for lunch that very day. When this client said it was a great Philly Cheese Steak, that was an understatement. I cannot begin to tell you how scrumptious it was. My mouth was watering while I watched the cooks prepare my meal right in front of me & the smell was indescribable. The anticipation of tasting this masterpiece was overwhelming & when the waiter delivered my order to the table, I immediately went in for the attack. It was better than I could have ever imagined. The steak was so juicy, the bread was so fresh, the onions were grilled to perfection, & cheese was oozing out the sides. With the first bite I was an instant raving fan. In fact, I was so impressed I just had to introduce myself to the owner Raj Shrestha. You can always find him behind the counter as he is there to greet his customers with a smile. As us foodies do, I of course posted a picture of this phenomenal creation on Facebook where I was first let in on this gem of the neighborhood.
Burgers & Brats has a menu with great variety ranging from the Crime Scene Burger with 100% Angus beef compiled with just about everything you can imagine on it, to the best Wurst you can find. I was so excited to find such a fabulous place tucked away in our beautiful Town of Flower Mound where my family and I have lived for almost 25 years. I could not believe I had never heard of this place before as Burgers & Brats is a “must try” for anyone with a huge appetite. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed, and there is no need to dress up! The atmosphere is casual with televisions mounted for the patron’s entertainment featuring local sports & more. So next time you have a hankering for an amazing burger, the best bratwurst, or an out of this world Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, run. don’t walk. to Burgers & Brats.

I have to agree with Chrisy. I have been there with her when I complained I needed a good cheese steak sandwich. We agreed and met there for lunch one day and I was not disappointed. I have been back several times but only for the cheese steak. I really need to try something else on the meun but when its good its hard to change.

For those that don’t eat red meat / pork, what would your recommend? Do they have those options? I like non-chain restaurants so this place def woul want to try.

Burgers & Brats voted 1st place for best Hamburger in Denton County 2014, 2013, 2010.
We use 100% fresh never frozen certified black angus burger patties ( no added hormones or antibiotic).
Fresh veggies, fresh buns, get Brats & strudel from local business Munster, Texas.
No MSG or trans fat.

I 100% agree with Chrisy, burgers like this are something you can never get enough of. My family and I went last week and we were already back in this week. Just cant get enough! Every time we go we try something new!

Never been a huge a Philly cheese steak fan (seriously, Cheez Whiz?). But reading this is making me rethink my position. That sounds pretty darn amazing. But from where I live, I’ll likely neither walk nor run. Is it okay if I drive? Also, good job on correctly spelling “scrumptious”!
