I earned my BBA with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate from Texas Christian University.  I began my career with Arthur Andersen Consulting (i.e.  Accenture) and then transitioned to PepsiCo’s Corporate Audit Group.  Once I established a strong accounting and technical foundation, I decided to quench my thirst and desire to be an entrepreneur.  I joined forces in a startup apparel manufacturing company in Santa Fe that quickly grew from inception to $23 million in sales and was subsequently sold to a larger competitor.  I parlayed these financial resources along with my newly developed sales and marketing
knowledge into his ultimate passion…real estate!

In 2000, my family and I moved back to DFW to reunite with my father, a custom home builder, and my mother, a maven in residential sales, to launch a residential sales company, Rhodes & Associates.  Within seven years, our newly formed company became the number one real estate team in DFW out of 17,000 agents according to the Wall Street Journal. We have remained the number one seller of pre-owned DFW homes every year for the last 12 years totaling over 8400 clients and $3+ billion in sales.

I humbly embrace the magnitude of responsibility that my clients entrust in me to consult and protect them in one of their most important financial purchases.  I am dedicated to working hard, listening, following through, and exceeding their expectations every day.  I have a strict hiring prerequisite that ALL team members MUST have a “Servant’s Heart” which is non-negotiable.  My belief is that other professional skills can be taught; however, our team members’ overwhelming desire to ALWAYS do the right thing, no matter what it costs in time and/or money, must be innate and part of their DNA. Over the past 45 years, I have been a certified home inspector, mastered several trades, and designed and built custom homes. Jeremy Wages – Licensed Real Estate Consultant

I have lived in the DFW area all of my life and I literally grew up in the Texas Real Estate business. I have been professionally involved in Real Estate transactions since 2001 and I am blessed to be a 3rd generation family member on the Rhodes Team. It’s sometimes strange to be working with and referring to my mother as Terri and my grandmother as Verna but our professional standards would have it no other way.

Since joining the Rhodes Team in 2010, I developed a passion for helping home sellers to navigate the listing process.  Selling a house can be stressful and daunting for even the most prolific home sellers.  One of my primary goals is to help my sellers to net the most amount of money with the least amount of headaches.  There are a great deal of emotions in selling a home so it is my job to help a seller to feel at ease and understand their options.  I do represent home buyers as well and it is so much fun to watch a client to fall in love with their new home.  When representing a buyer it is critical to make sure the property they are buying is a good, solid home that can have fantastic resale potential.

When I am not representing clients I enjoy flipping houses.   I get a great level of satisfaction in watching a home transform and knowing that it will make another family very happy for years to come.  When I am flipping houses it is like nothing you see on TV because my process has little to no drama.  While each house has its own unique challenges I am able to navigate the process by having a proven formula of colors, materials, and vendors to transform my homes.  I am able to use my experience in flipping houses to help my real estate clients for all of their remodeling or make ready needs.

I have been overjoyed to have raised 9 kids within a 15 year age range.  My family and I are active in our community through church, sports, and various organizations in the area. We enjoy skiing on both snow and water.  We travel every year to a beach where we enjoy various activities from building sand castles to scuba diving.  Life has been an adventure and God has given us many blessings.

As a lifelong resident of Denton County, I am fortunate to be a member of The Rhodes Team where I get to help clients find their North Texas dream home or sell their North Texas home because they’re moving on to another adventure! Since 2005, I have enjoyed working with clients to buy and sell real estate and have consistently performed as a top listing and buyers agent, closing over 305 homes since 2019, with a volume over $150 million. Prior to my work in real estate, I served the Flower Mound Police Department for 23 years where I retired as a Detective with a Specialty in Financial Crimes. My beautiful wife, Paula and I have 3 children and are members of St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs, the frustratingly-unpredictable Dallas Cowboys and proudly attending my children’s activities.

Andrew V. Brown – Licensed Real Estate Consultant

I was born and raised in the country, in between the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River in Maryland.   I spent two years in the U.S. Army with a tour in South Vietnam.  After graduating from Central Piedmont College in Charlotte, N.C., I worked for Xerox Corp. in various positions as Technical Software Specialist, Technical Analyst, and Management for 28 years.  In addition, I worked with Pitney Bowes and Fidelity Corp.  I am pleased to now be working in Real Estate with the Rhodes Team.

Marshall graduated from Emory University in Economics and from the University of Georgia with an MBA in Real Estate, Finance, and Accounting. Born at Fort Benning, GA into a military family, I moved often until I made it to Murray, Kentucky for college. While there, I attended Murray State University where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees and met my wife. The next 10 years were spent working in management for various retail and manufacturing organizations throughout the west Tennessee and Kentucky regions, before deciding to become a Federal Criminal Investigator with the US Postal Service. That decision brought me and my family to the DFW area in 2004, where we settled first in Flower Mound, Texas, then Argyle, Texas. I spent the next 20 years working, and learning about the North Texas region. And all that it offered.

I am married to Kristi, my wife of 30 years, have three grown children, and two dogs, and attend church at Grapevine’s First Baptist.
